Who is Netconex?
Netconex is an Internet Access and Network Consulting company based in
Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
What is High-Speed Wireless Internet Access
and How Does it Work?
High-Speed Wireless Internet Access provides customers with a
broadband Internet connection without the need for any additional
phone, cable, or data lines. Our wireless service uses radio
waves to send and receive Internet data through the air; similar
to the way radio stations operate. When customers subscribe
to our service, we install a small antenna on the exterior of
their home or office that will communicate with one of our towers.
Our wireless network utilitizes the FCC’s 5.2GHz and 5.8GHz ISM
bands to ensure our customer’s data is transmitted securely and
reliably. But most importantly, our Wireless Internet Access
service provides a high quality and cost-effective alternative to
Cable Modems and Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL).

Will Wireless Internet Access work with my network?
Yes. Our High-Speed Wireless Internet Access can be fully integrated into your network.
The antenna is connected to your network via a standard Category
5 network cable. Therefore, we can connect the antenna
directly into a single computer, router, or a
firewall.
Will
I get any busy signals with Wireless Internet Access?
No. Your High-Speed Wireless Internet Access sends and receives
Internet data through the air. It does not depend on phone
or data lines and therefore you will never have to dial out.
Our service is "Always On".
How do I know if this wireless service is available at my
home or office?
Customers are encouraged to call us at 717.295.7630 or fill out an online
form to schedule a FREE Wireless Site Survey. A Netconex
wireless engineer will come to your office and determine which
of our Wireless Internet Service Packages are available are your
location. Service availability will be determined by the terrain
and other geographic conditions.
Downloads and web pages are taking forever with my dial-up service, will it be faster on wireless?
Yes. Wireless Internet Access is significantly faster than a dial-up
account.
I have ADSL and, while my download speeds are good, uploading leaves a lot to be desired, is this the case with Netconex Wireless?
Our Business Service Plans offer symmetric data transfers. This means you will have the same upload and download speeds.
Our upload speeds for these services are much faster than those provided by DSL and
Cable providers.
I have trouble connecting with a modem because the internal wiring in my building is old, will I have the same problem with wireless?
No. Our Wireless Internet Access Service does not rely on phone lines for connections so you will not have any problems receiving
our High-Speed Wireless Internet Access service.
I currently have AOL, but I would like it to be high speed, is this possible?
Yes. You can use our High-Speed Wireless Internet Access Service in
conjunction with AOL.
Do I have to pay for Tech Support?
No. Technical Support is always provided at no charge.
I would like to upload a website, do you offer space to do so?
Yes. Each Wireless Internet Access Package features a minimum of 125MB of disk space for hosting a
web.
I know that satellite technology is affected by inclement weather, is this the case with your service?
No. Our wireless technology works well through rain, snow, sleet, and wind. You
won't experience any downtime during these situations.
Will your wireless hardware inhibit me from dialing with my modem?
No. There should be no problem at all using both, just not simultaneously.
Am I going to experience a lot of downtime like I do with my DSL and
Cable technology?
Wireless is more reliable than other forms of Internet Access. Unlike
Cable and DSL providers, Netconex owns all of the equipment between
our towers and your office/residence.
